INTERONC 2027 will feature a series of specialized pre-conference workshops aimed at strengthening practical skills, clinical competency, multidisciplinary learning, and research capacity in oncology and allied medical sciences. Workshop 1: Hands-on Robotic Surgery Workshop This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the evolving role of robotic-assisted surgery in oncology and advanced surgical care. The workshop will provide practical exposure to the fundamentals of robotic surgical systems, surgical ergonomics, patient selection, operative planning, instrumentation handling, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Participants will benefit from simulated hands-on training sessions, case-based discussions, and expert guidance on current applications, advantages, limitations, and future directions of robotic surgery in modern oncology practice. The session aims to enhance understanding of robotic platforms and improve technical familiarity with advanced surgical technologies. Participants will gain practical exposure to diagnostic workflows, case-based discussions, biomarker correlation, and translational applications in clinical oncology.
