Eligibility for Internship Program

To ensure a meaningful and productive experience, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria

Educational Background

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., biology, medicine, public health, sociology, psychology, marketing, or related fields).

Commitment

Ability to commit to the duration of the internship, which may vary based on the specific track.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge relevant to the chosen internship track.
Proficiency in computer applications and data management (for specific tracks).

Passion for Cancer Care

A demonstrated interest in cancer research, patient support, or community health initiatives.

References

Two references who can speak to your qualifications and character.

Interview Process

Participation in an interview to assess fit and discuss your interests and goals.

Available Internship Tracks

1. Cancer Research Internship:-
Engage in cutting-edge research projects and clinical trials aimed at advancing cancer treatment and prevention.

2. Community Outreach and Awareness Internship:-
Play a vital role in promoting cancer awareness and organizing outreach programs to educate the public on early detection and prevention.

3. Psychosocial Support Internship:-
Provide emotional and psychological support to cancer patients and their families, gaining experience in counseling and patient care.

4.Public Health and Epidemiology Internship
Support cancer prevention initiatives by assisting with data collection, public health research, and policy development.

5. Fundraising and Grant Writing Internship
Learn the art of nonprofit fundraising and assist in securing grants and donations to support BBIFCC’s initiatives.

6.Digital Marketing and Social Media Internship
Help us raise awareness of cancer care initiatives through digital platforms, while honing your skills in content creation and campaign management.

7.Sociology of Health Internship
Explore the social impact of cancer treatment on patients and their families, contributing to research on healthcare inequalities.

8.Data Management Internship
Work with our research and healthcare teams to manage and analyze data for various cancer care projects.

Internships are available on a rolling basis throughout the year. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate and valuable work experience that can be applied to future career opportunities. Fund Your Learning, Fund a Cause: BBIFCC is a nonprofit organization, and through our internship program, participants not only gain skills but also help us raise funds to support our cancer care projects. A nominal fee, which may be waived based on the interview, is charged for participation. This fee directly contributes to the success of our ongoing initiatives in cancer treatment, patient support, and research. Additionally, a stipend may be provided based on the success of ongoing fundraising efforts.
